Correct installation of IKO bearing is to guarantee its long service life. Many people who do not have professional knowledge about the installation of IKO bearing will easily cause improper installation of bearing and are prone to occur mechanical operation accident. General Installation Method of IKO Bearing
The cooperation way between bearing ring and the shaft is mainly transition fit while the cooperation way between the ring and the hole of bearing seat is clearance fit. Both the cooperation ways are very easy. The central axis of IKO bearing should be fixed on the shaft in order to avoid unnecessary wear. We often use the rotation installation so that the inner ring and shaft can cooperate more tightly.

When the cooperation of outer ring and bearing block and the cooperation of inner ring and shaft is loose and tight respectively, we can use the professional press of IKO bearing to press the bearing and shaft together and then put the bearing and shaft into the bearing block. During the installation, the surface of inner ring should be upward and then pad a copper or mild steel sleeve. If the inner diameter of sleeve is larger than the diameter of bearing neck or the outer diameter is smaller than the wall of inner ring, we should avoid the pressure on the cage. In addition, the IKO bearing is not permitted to use and must be replaced when the bearing parts crack and defect or rolling surface strips.

Identification Method of Bearing Fault
People who have rich experience and adequate training can identify the fault through voice recognition. They can clearly identify bearing and non IKO bearing voice through the listening device or listening rods affixed to the shell. Furthermore, we can identify the fault by observing working temperature which applies to unchanged operation occasion. When a fault occurs, the temperature will arise and irregular variations will appear. Additionally, we could identify faults through analyzing the pollution level of lubrication and observing whether it is mixed with foreign matter or metal powders. The method is particularly effective in the large bearings or IKO bearings which can't be closely observed.
